The Racehorse

At Lisa Williamson’s stable we believe every horse should have the best opportunity in life and every part of a horse’s upbringing is vital if it is to flourish in its racing career.

Lisa has developed a unique understanding of the horse and in many cases she has foaled, broken and then trained the horse in her care. The attention to detail in every aspect of the horses life mean that Lisa’s horses really do have the very best chance to fulfil their potential.

Lisa’s understanding comes from a life with horses, from the time she and her sister Judy Halewood rode out together as small girls, to seeing their very first Grand National runner in 1991 and of course the success of Amberleigh House.

During the last 20 years Lisa has honed her skills with Luca Cumani, the king of the Handicap, Mr Red Shirt and sprint king, Jack Berry and French legend John Hammond. This well rounded apprenticeship gave Lisa not only an outstanding riding background but a grounding in every aspect of the racing game. Something used to best effect today.
